FAQ
How do prizes work?
The top three in-person teams made up entirely of students from any university will receive cash prizes:
1st Place — $2,000
2nd Place — $1,000
3rd Place — $500
Additional smaller prizes will be available to all in-person participants.
Do I need a full team of three to sign up?
No. You can register with fewer than three people, and we can help match you with other participants, or you can choose to participate solo or as a team of two.
What should we bring on contest day?
Bring one laptop and charger per team.
Which programming languages are allowed?
C, C++, Java, and Python
How does scoring work?
Teams are ranked by problems solved. Ties are broken by total time: the sum of submission times (in minutes) plus a 20-minute penalty for each incorrect submission on a problem that is eventually solved.
